Used the tent over a week in the lake district. Scrambled some of the 500-600m peaks and wild camped in rain that became torrential – you could feel the impact of each droplet. Im not sure of the wind speed but some of the gusts provided such a force. Around 30-40kmph likely. One night it was constant for 8 hours. The tent performed incredible – i used the bisinna trekking poles from aliex too. Not a drop of water inside, even the inner got wet. The 4 season is 100% the one you want for uk weather.

This is a solid shelter. Materials and craftsmanship is a1. I will be modifying it to make more user friendly but you can certainly use it straight out of the box. I erected for the first time in ten minutes which included attaching the side guy out points. I reckon it will only take five minutes from here on. It pitches all in one, the inner is already attached. There’s so much room inside, plenty for two people, a palace for one, and vestibules are huge. I would recommend getting better ground pegs as the ones supplied are quite small. I have two delta pegs for the doors and then six 8″ pegs for everything else. The metal rams head is a fantastic improvement on this version and the t zipped doors make a world of difference. Highly recommend it.

I have searched hundreds of websites looking for the best single/double tent. In the tent ranking, the MSR Freelite 2 tent wins, but it is 4 times more expensive than this one. In another place, it’s exactly this one. Well sewn, good quality material, the laces fit perfectly. So I recommend it. Now the cons. The low weight is achieved thanks to very thin materials, including on the floor, so it is delicate like silk. I immediately recommend purchasing a dedicated groundsheet or some kind of thick fabric as a tent base. The other matter is placement. The first arrangement took me half an hour or even longer. It’s not easy the first time. So before you leave, practice spacing in the garden.

Got the 2026 version. 1140 grams including accessories. The pegs are too small, but I was aware of that. Overall, a good tent, feels sturdy and is even more spacious than expected. That’s hard to estimate. Would definitely buy again and it was delivered within a week. Great, completely satisfied 👍

Delivered quickly and arrived in good condition. It’s a great product, and i use it for bike camping. I made two aluminum folding poles for it. This is my second lanshan 2 tent. I want to set them up vis-a-vis with a tarp between them so i can camp with kids.
