Seriously the best printer and the best company i know of, this printer is great, it’s incredibly open, and the company just has such a great vision on how 3d printing should go that i think is the best, it’s to make open source and great machines.

Very fast printer. After tuning settings, i can reach 47-49mm3/s flow rate, and print speeds up to 750mm/s. I’m printing petg-hs at 260c. The bed heats up very fast, in less than a minute. The print quality is not the greatest, but at these speeds it’s hard to complain. Be mindful that it’s quite loud with the exhaust fan.

This is a slick little setup, and when i say little i really mean little, build volume is 152mmx152mm, had i known that i would definitely not have bought it, that being said i’m not unhappy with the purchase, just wish it had a bigger build volume. I’m not a 3d printing pro, only been printing for like 3 months, first machine was an older ankermake m5, i didn’t even use a slicer for it, just sent files straight from my phone to printer, no slicer, but after a few fails i got the zero dialed in and made some pretty clean parts from abs carbon fiber. The zero is a very nice machine just know, the build volume is small, 152mmx152mm

The printer works really good for all my filaments so far (asa, abs, pla and petg). The way you setup this printer from orca is not that easy, but if you manage to import everything you get a really great printer

This is an excellent 3d printer!
Setup was easy. Fully automated leveling and calibration are convenient. The printer is heavy and durable.
You will need high speed filament to take advantage of the incredible top speed, and even then the flow maximum volumetric flow rate will be the limiting factor, preventing you from reaching 1200mm/s print speeds.
The input shaper is very good.
The build space is small, but adequate for most of my prints.
The fans are loud when printing pla, but would be quieter when printing higher temperature filaments with the printer closed and fewer fans running.
The camera quality is low, but if you add more interior led lighting, and adjust the focus of the camera the quality is adequate.
Overall, i am very pleased with this printer.

Technical specifications are available, the printer works just as expected. I love that it’s open source, form factor and build volume fit my needs just fine. Printed pla and tpu (95a) so far without problems, only loading the tpu was a bit annoying (remove ptfe from printhead, load filament manually through tube into hotend, reinsert ptfe tube), but that’s a problem with all tubed filament paths, the fans are definitively loud, even in idle and my bed was significantly tilted (0,3mm along the x-axis). Sovol supplies a workaround for that and i don’t think it’s a huge issue, but still notable inconveniences ;).
However, printing so far has been amazing, the orca slicer profiles work great, setup is very simple and fast, the supplied tools are decent, it’s easy to customize and mod and delivery was very fast.
Very happy with the printer, would absolutely buy from sovol again.
