The real thing is prettier. It’s made of resin so it’s light and doesn’t feel heavy. The pen holder is slightly thick, which makes for a good grip.

Arrived quickly (within a week!). Pen body is smooth and not sticky. Fits well in my (small) hand. It takes many turns for the cap to be removed which isn’t ideal ( >2.5 turns). No gasket, but haven’t experienced drying out after > 2weeks of use. I thought it would work with international cartridges, but they didn’t fit or i bought the wrong ones (aliexpress.com/item/1005009588651738.html). Bought jinhao 100 fountain pen nibs golden-35 m and they fit well. Smooth and very wet writing experience. Nib and feeds need to be cleaned before using because they were full of dried blue residue. Converter itself was clean. Did not use the fine nib it came with.

The writing feel is great. I bought it after seeing many positive reviews, and I’m very satisfied with the price. It feels smoother than the Senspuri 100. And the design is soooo pretty. It shines like shiny ceramic but isn’t heavy, which is great!

In short, it’s Jin Hao’s mistake… The weight and thickness are just right, and it’s slightly angular, but it works well from the start. The Jin Hao 100 series seems to be generally of good quality and the price is affordable…
