Introduction
This series of infrared thermometers is designed to measure the surface temperature of opaque objects.The optical components of the thermometer can sense the reflected and transmitted energy emitted by the object and focus the
energy on the detector, making it suitable for quickly measuring the surface temperature of various high-temperature, toxic, or difficult-to-reach objects.
The thermometer consists of an optical system, a photoelectric sensor, a signal amplifier, a signal processing circuit, and an LCD display. The optical system converges the infrared energy radiated from the object's surface to the photoelectric sensor, which converts the energy into a corresponding electrical signal. This signal is then converted into a reading by the signal amplifier and signal processor circuit and displayed on the LCD.

Uses 2 aaa batteries. The spot size is about 1 cm at 12 cm distance and 2 cm at 24 cm. Accuracy is good, but there are a few things to know.
The thermometer detects total infrared: emission from the target, reflections from the surroundings, and transmission through materials like glass. It estimates reflected ir using its built‑in ambient sensor and subtracts it to calculate the reading.
If the target’s surroundings differ greatly from the thermometer’s temperature (e.g., hot water in a pot), the reflection correction may be off. Adjusting the emissivity to match another thermometer can work like a simple calibration (about ±1 ° C).
Water color, oil, bubbles, or solids had little effect. Steam between the target and the thermometer caused about −5 ° C error. In cool environments (around 10–20 ° C), weaker emission and higher reflection made readings about 2–3 ° C lower.
Once verified with another thermometer, it may work well for routine measurements.

This is another impressive item that i got in a bundle. That matches up perfectly with all the matching data of today’s weather. You not going to get better for this price. I highly recommend it and if it was crap i,d say so. Buy it in safe knowledge that it works. And the one in the other picture if you need a house thermometer. 👍🏻 🇭 🇲

Definitely worth the money, no need to constantly press a button to measure the temperature at different points, just hold it and it displays in real time, you can easily understand where and how it’s working, it’s fast, the error is ~1.5 degrees, measures without problems at a distance of 2 meters, in my case at close distances of 10-40 cm you need to focus on the centimeter below the center of the laser.

Definitely worth the money. Inexpensive and works well. The only thing i don’t like is it requires aaa. The device isn’t tweaked for the use of rechargeable batteries. Device shows as low battery with fully charged nimh batteries

Small device. The photo makes the product appear much larger than it actually is, as the actual dimensions are small; the item is no bigger than an apple! In terms of performance, you will notice that the emitted laser is invisible. The temperature measurement is approximate, but for the price, it’s acceptable. A simple entry-level product.
