It looks and feels quite good, I already had one and this one feels heavier and in a way harder, it has a radius on the right side of the blade, I suppose that gives more rigidity to the fine support of the blade while providing space to cut pieces of considerable diameter on the lathe.

Unfortunately, the sharp edges are not processed. But it’s okay and not a problem to take a file and smooth them out. With that, I also noticed that the metal is hardened. Thumbs up for the fast delivery.

A good item, good value, complete with cutting tips. Thinner-than-usual ceramic-tipped parting tool, 1.5 mm wide instead of the usual 2.0 mm. 10 tips included. Well made. Some slight difficulty of assembly, not easy to get the tip into the holder, the holder needed forcing open slightly, although this locates the tip well and it locks into place. On test it worked well. The thinner slot that it makes is good, and i expect that this tool will be used in future in preference to the two 2mm ceramic ones used previously, as i have often resorted to a thinner 1.6 mm hss blade in the past in preference to 2mm. – jd.
