charge, connect and turn on by pressing the button separately for the transmitter and separately for the microphone. I attach the microphone to some kind of stand or something that doesn’t shake or create scratching sounds on the microphone, because even holding it carefully by the clip sometimes produces a scratching sound. and the sound is okay, not a fountain of course, but not a disaster either. quality above price
