Yes, this thing works! Keep in mind that if your countertop is thicker than 4 cm, the lower fixing nut will not be able to be screwed in – the thread starts about 1 cm above the bottom edge of the tube (pump), which is at the bottom. But we used silicone sealant (under the pump head and all over the threads) and everything stuck perfectly and is holding well. The cap included in the set fits a standard soda bottle, and most likely fits a returnable bottle as well, but it’s a bit tight. I assume that if you make a hole of the appropriate diameter in the lid of a 6-liter water canister, it will also work. Thanks to the seller, the pump is excellent, highly recommended!
