This endoscope camera cable is the newest model and it can directly work with iPhones or iPads without extra WiFi box.
You just need to install the APP and simply plug the endoscope camera to your mobile phone, then you can view real-time images on the screen. Good product, 2nd camera definitely better than the little mirror. What isn’t directly obvious is that you need to scan the qr-code on the cable to download the app, and when the camera is connected via usb-c you also have to connect to it’s wifi (anesok-xxxx).
Focus distance and resolution is good, more than enough for engine inspections

This thing is fantastic! The image quality is way better than expected and it just works. You do have to download a sketchy, poorly reviewed app to make it work, but when you plug the camera into your phone it immediately works! The side camera is fantastic for seeing cylinder head valves in your engine! The one con about the app is it doesn’t save the photos/videos to your phones library. You have to “download” them from the app. Slight inconvenience, but kind of annoying. Pro tip: you can tap and hold one photo to initiate a “select all” mode so you can batch download the photos/videos. Otherwise you can only transfer them one by one.

Extremely good value. The image quality is satisfactory from both lenses and it all seems to work. Probably not great to run bright leds from my phone when they’re in such a tight housing, but for short usage times i’m very happy with this. Much cheaper than a ferret camera, fits my use case.

Easy and intuitive app with dimmable light, front and side camera, which can both film and take pictures. The app has a compare function where you can compare a picture taken with what you see on screen. Very handy.
