These are “spa-type” flip flops, made of heavy industrial plastic, so they’re pretty much impermeable to any water/liquid. They definitely require a break-in period, but are ok once you break them in. My only complaint is that the plastic thong loop that goes between the toes is also made of this hard plastic, so it feels like a hard pencil is jammed between your toes when you first wear them. Otherwise, they look great and work great.
