Previously i tried an 80mm stem but it made the steering of the bike a little twitchy. This one at 100 mm is better. The Kalloy Uno Ultralight table is amazing, this is the fourth one I’ve bought. Besides being beautiful, it’s very light, only 87g for a 60mm table. I replaced the screws with titanium ones and it’s now only 78g, unbelievable!!! I’ve been using it for years, so I know it’s quite reliable; for any bike assembly project, this will definitely be the choice! !
There is only one issue regarding this table that needs to be considered: the screws are made of steel, so if used they will oxidize over time. I believe it wouldn’t cost much for the brand to use stainless steel screws. In my case, it doesn’t matter because I always replace them with titanium ones, but for many people that’s not the case, and this is important! ! !
