These mats are 1/4” (~6.35mm) thick, or less than 1cm tall. They work great for what i need. I’m using these under rugs to offer a little more cushion vs the hardwood they are on top of. Perfect for playing with kids and pets. The carpet covers the edges and allows our roomba/shark to clean over it just fine. Pay attention to thickness!! This is great for what i just described, but you need something thicker if you’re planning on using it for gymnastics where it needs to absorb more shock
