The books themselves, as in the content, is really good. Even on the easiest of hanzi there are useful chengyu and more complicated words attached to them, making it perfect to amplify your vocabulary. The books were damaged due to the packaging, though

The extra sheet that allows you to cover definitions is very handy. The sample sentence provided with each hanzi can be surprisingly difficult and feature unexpected words but personally i think that’s a plus as it makes you more interested to learn them.
