① Garbled LCD Display: If the rear cover mounting area becomes deformed, you can loosen it and then reinstall it。

Installed in no time instead of a non-smart thermostat, configured on Home Assistant with zigbee2mqtt in seconds and everything works. The temperature sensor detects the same temperature as the old thermostat. However, if needed, it can be calibrated via z2m.

I recommend buying the WiFi model. I bought two of them. I am very satisfied with the purchase; I needed a simple model. It has adjustable thermal hysteresis, and it’s better programmed from the app because the monitor turns off after a few seconds to save batteries. Remotely, it can be turned on by setting a scene mode=temporary, switch=ON, and then heating.

It fulfills its function well, works perfectly with Wi-Fi, and the Smart Life app can control more things, like in my case the air conditioner. By size, if you have a mechanism box it fits perfectly. How does it work? I would say that it lacks an option for the screen to always be on so that you can see the data without having to touch it, because when you press the button, the heating turns on at the same time as the screen. But in summary, for the price it has, it fulfills its function and that’s why I give it all the stars.

The connection with Smart Life is perfect.
Power the thermostat either with the light via USB-C or with batteries, open the Smart Life app and the WT198 thermostat will appear. Select “Add” and select your WiFi network and the password of your router, keep the phone close to the thermostat, both on the same WiFi network in your home.
The installation on the wall is perfect since the holes are in the same place where the old analog thermostat was located.
With alkaline batteries, the display only lasts two or three seconds on, which is logical for saving battery life.
It would be nice if these could be charged using a USB-C connection and rechargeable batteries when the battery is low, as an additional feature to improve the product.
It is beautiful and sturdy, and I would not hesitate to buy another one just like it.
