Cutter Selection:
To achieve your desired objective, it is crucial to use tools with short cutting edges as much as possible. An excessively long cutting edge or tool body can cause vibration and deviation during machining, leading to tool damage and affecting the quality of the workpiece. We recommend using tools with a larger diameter for the handle.

Tool Operation :
(1). Woodworking router bits are designed for handheld and benchtop woodworking carving machines and should not be used on equipment such as electric drills or drill presses.

(2). The tools can machine hardwoods, softwoods, and plywood to a smooth finish, but avoid machining materials such as copper, iron, and non-wood materials like sand and stone.

(3). Always use a collet with the correct size, as a severely worn, out-of-round, or tapered collet will not provide sufficient clamping force, leading to vibration or the breaking of the tool shank and causing it to be thrown off.

(4). Do not assume that a new collet is always safe and reliable. If there are uneven contact marks or grooves on the tool shank after it is clamped, it indicates slippage and a change in the collet bore, which should prompt an immediate collet replacement to avoid accidents.

(5). If the tool jumps during operation after being clamped, stop the machine immediately and re-clamp the tool several times to ensure full contact between the tool shank and the collet before resuming work.

(6). The contact between the tool shank and the collet should be good; the tool shank must be fully inserted into the collet and securely tightened to provide sufficient clamping force. Do not insert only a small part of the shank into the collet, as this can cause the shank to break and damage the tool.

(7). Use appropriate eye and ear protection devices when operating.

(8). Keep your body, clothing, and other objects away from the tool while it is in operation.

Tool Maintenance :
(1). Keep the tools clean. After use, remove resin, sawdust, and other contaminants from the tools using standard industrial solvents.

(2). Applying a small amount of oil can prevent the tool surface from rusting. Clean all dirt from the tool shank to prevent slippage during use.

(3). Do not attempt to grind or alter the shape of the tools yourself, as each grinding process requires professional equipment and skills. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the cutting edge to break and create accidents.
