The contrast even of the text is slightly worse than my previous book (kobo), but the Android on board and the color outweigh it; now I can comfortably read comics and manga, even with colored inserts.
The book itself feels nice in the hand, it’s thick and you can feel its weight; the glass on the cover is very good.

Definitely very surprised with the efficiency, it didn’t take long to arrive. The product surprised me a lot. It’s fast when turning pages and I could open any type of files. What you do need to keep in mind is that the interface is a bit meh. But I feel that for being an Android e-ink device it’s fine. Truly very happy with my purchase.

First impressions:
– the package arrived 4 days earlier than the estimated delivery date. Paid an additional fee, which is fine; it was delivered via ups and got to use it a few days later while killing time at a work event.
– i knew it would be small, but it’s actually smaller than my phone! By about half a centimeter. Also noticeably lighter.
– setting up is rather simple; skipped a few steps for later
– screen seemed fine, no dead lines or pixels
Two weeks, five days later:
I’ve used it at home, at work, and even in transit whenever possible. It has a positive effect on me as i seem to be reading more and doom scrolling less. It’s not waterproof, so i’ll have to be a bit mindful especially when it rains. Overall, i’m glad i pulled the trigger and made this purchase. Here’s hoping the books i read through this device continue to help me grow as a person.

Delivery was faster than anticipated.
The ereader is lovely. I am using primarily to use the public library’s android reader apps on an eink screen.
The screen is not as crisp as a kindle, possibly due to the color feature (?) But definitely passable. It is nice and small, fits in a pocket, and doesn’t weigh much, so is easy to hold while reading without getting tired.
As an ereader it is responsive, and the page turning is quick and seamless.
Sending files to it from a mac is not as easy as from windows, so i’ll probably just put my epubs on an sd card instead of trying a file transfer from calibre.
I have no idea what i’d use the ai for, but hey, it’s a fun gimmick. I tried out the built-in speaker with an audiobook, and it is decent. It paired with a bluetooth keyboard without issue.

Koreader, termux/doom/emacs = awesome.
Had to disable a load of junk but once the bloat wear is hidden or uninstalled it makes for a nice tablet. It’s a bit dark and i’m not really using the colour but it’s nice to have.
The display really pops in bright light or bright sunshine.
If you can get it on sale it’s worth it.

Worth the money! Feels really solid and sturdy in the hand. But still lightweight. Really happy i found this. Small e reader with expandable storage sd slot. Works well so far! Easy to use and was easy to use my local library card to borrow books through the libby app. I can also listen to my audible books too! It’s everything i dreamed of.

I’ve been using it for a week and I love it! It’s my first e-reader so I can’t compare it to other brands, but it works great. Since it has Android, it can be customized a lot, but I had to look for several tutorials to configure some apps and set the settings to Dev mode to be able to view the files on the PC. I really like how compact it is and the matcha color! I bought a separate transparent case 🙂 Happy
