1. Hard drive capacity calculations vary from system to system.
For example, 1TB is 930GB on Windows and 918GB on PS5. 500GB is 465GB on Windows. This is normal, and is true for every hard drive on the market, and is not a false label.
About Capacity:
Hard disk vendors are using decimal arithmetic: 1MB = 1000KB, 1G = 1000MB calculated, but the operating system is using binary arithmetic: 1MB = 1024KB, 1GB = 1024MB.
