Very good device. I bought it with the intention of amplifying the Hifiman HE400SE headphones. It serves its purpose well. It allows you to amplify and clarify, detail, and enhance the audio in the headphones that require amplification to show its potential. I purchased the product mainly because it was already available in the warehouse of my country, Brazil, and it was delivered quickly and with great organization. I made the purchase on 27/08/25 and received the product on 30/08/25. It is robust, has the appearance of steel/aluminum, showing to be very resistant. It has 4 rubber feet, providing more stability on the table/bench. The amplification is very good in the HE400SE, allowing you to use only up to half of the maximum volume. It has analog controls for bass, treble, and overall volume. The button has a volume marking with a line underneath in relief. In Windows, if left at 100%, on Fosi K5 Pro, it doesn’t even reach half the volume. If left on the amp at maximum volume, then in Windows I have to keep it well below 50%.

Excellent amplifier, high-quality sound. I even boosted my ATH-AVC500 headphones, which have a 40 Ohm impedance, by just 1/4 turn. The tone control is convenient and smooth, the volume control has a slight play when rotated clockwise and counter-clockwise, but that’s minor. Compared to the AIYMA DAC-A2 amplifier, I didn’t notice any difference in sound quality. Both amplifiers perform well. I recommend it!

It arrived very quickly, the device seems to be made of aluminum or some metallic material, very well crafted. I use a Razer headset and bought more because of the headphone and microphone input, which already satisfied me, but it also helps with sound amplification, it gets so loud that you don’t even need to wear the headset.

I saw information in other people’s reviews that white noise occurs with earphones, so I purchased both 75Ω and 150Ω attenuator plugs at the same time. First, I tried connecting them directly. The earphones I use are ZAS, PR2, NX7MK3, ZAR, and AW16 (Bass), but none of them produced white noise. However, only ZAS produced a bubbling noise that seemed related to power. Nevertheless, I think an attenuator plug is still necessary for volume adjustment because the overall volume gets too high. I tried both 75Ω and 150Ω, and while there wasn’t a big difference, 150Ω seems just right for volume adjustment. The noise from ZAS also disappeared. In terms of sound quality, I haven’t used high-end devices, so I don’t know, but for this product, it’s really good. The BASS and TREBLE tone controls are also very useful when you want to make slight adjustments depending on the source being played. Considering the price, I’m very satisfied with this sound quality and functions. I recommend it.
