I have a crown pa amp that caused an amperage spike when switched on, causing the main circuit breaker to trip. I bought this item in the hope that it would filter that spike so i wouldn’t have to get an electrician, and to filter the power for all my av equipment (also, because it looks cool). If this didn’t work i was going to be up for around $250 for a dedicated circuit with a slow-trip breaker. I haven’t listened to the system with this filter yet, but it has fixed the issue with the power amp, so i am very happy. Not only do i have a cool looking item that filters the power to my home theatre setup, but i’ve saved about $200 on an electrician.

Measured at the lowest price, the power strip is really very good and solidly made (I was surprised how heavy it is). An EMI filter is located directly behind the power connection; whether it does anything remains to be seen, but it is there. The internal structure (as far as I can tell) also makes a good impression. The whole package arrived well-packaged and quickly (6 days) in Germany 🇩🇪.
