Literally poured water from the shower head as shown in the photo . The bag is really water proof in the sense that the inner layer inside the main zipper is all dry, including inside the pockets/compartments, inside the little front pocket , but not those on the side . It’s a pity that my 15-inch thinkpad from work did not fit into the laptop pocket behind the straps, but other than that it’s a steal of a backpack at such a price .
