It is a very watery ink, good for watery watercolor paper with a thickness of more than 300 grams.

Ink not fully tested. It seemed sensitive to water. I intend to use it for drawing. Therefore, intense and original glass architecture with the pen rest. I liked it.

I have come to truly love hongdain ink.. it writes so smooth, flow is fantastic, doesn’t clog the pen, nor develop a crusty bottle. It enables one to ignore the mechanics and simply enjoy the art of using dip/fountain pens.
I have only one complaint, the color is not true black, more of a dark purple/grey. Otherwise this ink is golden.
As to the seller… the package came early, you got to love that! I was planning on buying some of the more exotic colors from this seller, and i will. It is good to find a brand you love with a seller you can trust. A winning combination.
