Plug in, iphone 15, automatically prompts a very minimal app from app store called ytcamera to download, and endoscope is fully functional in less than a minute. Given the price , had not been anticipating a truly useful tool. But it is truly useful. Checked behind stoves for jewelry etc. I would recommend the firm cable variation for anyone deciding on what type to get. The soft cable is extremely difficult to navigate without the aid of a clothes hanger wire, tape and a navigator.
