What a nifty invention. Will definitely come in handy when i can’t find my lighter which is all the time. It took me while to figure it out but all you have to do is plug it to your phone blow on it and it lights up when you do that then it goes out by itself. I am very pleased with my purchase and i might even get another one for a friend thanks

I bought 2 and both work. Good if you need a fire while on the go and don’t carry a lighter as a non-smoker.
For all those who bought it and think it doesn’t work: you need to blow in it briefly to create a spark. Just connecting to the cell phone is not enough.
So: Connect the lighter to the phone, then a diode lights up green and then you briefly blow into it. I hope I was able to help further with this.

So this lighter is kind of good. That they can even set fire to paper and even entire fields with it. The quality is very good, the lighter is made of pure stainless steel and weighs approximately thirty-six grams. If you apply the following trick and blow into the lighter 3 times in a row, a flame will appear instead of a glowing wire. I find The Flamme very useful, the glow wire is not bad either, it works very well. So once they are plugged in, only the wire glows. Blow into it three times in a row and a flame will appear.

I was skeptical, but this thing actually does work. It draws about 5w at 5v (one ampere) and will rapidly start glowing. A green control led shows the activity, apparently the device shuts off after a few seconds to protect the power source and glow wire. The usb-c connector will need an appropriate outlet on phones, tablets or power supplies.

Very cool! I bought it as a gift but i think i’ll buy myself one for emergencies. Very convenient & handy. Just plug it into your phone & blow into it. ***you must blow pretty hard! *** i first thought it was broken, it took several tries but if you blow hard it works well. It also has a quick automatic shutoff.
I’d be cautious though as it gets pretty hot so don’t go putting it in your pocket until it cools off
