The thermostat can be easily integrated into Zigbee2MQTT and was ready for use within minutes. The craftsmanship is surprisingly high-quality, and the design appears modern and simple, making it visually fit well into the room.
In its default state, the device sends quite a few MQTT messages and can therefore spam the Zigbee network slightly – fortunately, this can be quickly resolved with a few simple filter and debounce settings.
Particularly impressive is how precise and extensive the adjustment options are. Schedules, temperature ranges, and sensor options can be configured with great precision. Overall, a recommended thermostat with extensive functionality and good value for money.

Perfect, it works with Home Assistant and MQTT. To solve the massive sending of LQI messages, the firmware must be updated to a custom one. Look for the GitHub repository “slacky1965/tuya_thermostat_zrd” to find instructions on how to do it.
