I realized lately that my tea bags were nylon, and that adding heat to nylon melts it and then i’m injesting microplastics. And that’s bad. So now with this strainer, i’m enjoying my favorite green tea and it strains super fast. I’m very pleased with this infuser. Recommend highly. 🙂 the little arms on it don’t collapse easily either. I don’t use the little cover really.
