I got this to work. Caveats emptor: the instructions are all in chinese characters, but if you follow the annoations on the pcb, there isn’t any ambiguity other than the l! Connections.
The upper end of your l1 coil (implemented with 3 turns of the red wire supplied) goes to the more “north” connection for l1 on the pcb.
I’ve only powered it with 12v so far and i get a little purple plasma arc of about 2-3mm without any sound input, and it easily lights up an old cfl i had around.
There are two leds on the board. Led2 lights up to indicate power is supplied. Led1 didn’t light up, but that’s often the case with these slayer exciter circuits.
