The socks are very dense and thick. Probably warm. I tested the waterproofness for a few minutes, they really do not let water through!

Good socks, wore them to Romania, crossed a river in them with Zeb Gortex shoes. As long as the water was below the top of the sock, I didn’t even feel the water. Even when the water was splashing already. Of course, moisture was felt, but it was comfortable.

Good socks, I put them in a bucket of water and the foot was completely fine. Now, just so you know, they are thick socks, for those who have narrow shoes, just take note of that. Also, they are perfectly waterproof.

These are on the thick side, more like a winter sock, but still fit nicely in cycling shoes do a great job of moving moisture outwards, and keeping feet dry. Highly recommend and have just ordered a second pair. The care instructions specify to handwash so i’ve been doing that to make sure they last.

This is the second pair of these socks that i have purchased and they are great for winter cycling. They do come up a bit large so if your feet are on the minimum of the size range, then consider going down a size. I wash them in my washing machine on a standard 30c wool cycle without problems, though for drying they need to be dried twice (turn them inside out) as the waterproof membrane prevents the inside from drying. Delivery was fast.

They work very well for the bike, to avoid getting cold. My fingers usually stay frozen, but with these socks I delay the symptoms quite a bit. The membrane works for both water and air. Recommended purchase. They are quite large. An L is perfect for a size 45 foot. If you have a smaller size, better an M.
