More than impressed! I have been using a hakko fx-888d for the last 12 years and it served me well for the typical soldering jobs but this thing is on another level. It is especially a game changer when you go into “micro” work like smd level soldering/desoldering. This thing has the right size tip and enough juice to do the job quick. Make sure to read the manual and make all the connections!

Fast heat-up for c245 tip, c210 even quicker.
Very good temperature stability – holds set temperature with minimal fluctuation (±2–3 ° C).
Both handles are lightweight, comfortable to hold for long sessions, and the cables are flexible and non-obstructive.
Large, bright oled display is easy to read.
Sleep mode and auto-hibernation work smoothly

It is certainly an improvement over my gordak 968 station. They seem to have fixed the issue with grounding connecting a ~1ohm resistor between the tip and ground connection. Also this revision has a fast switching handle connector istead of the screwing one ( which the old models had if i remember correctly ). So i think this station is safe now!
