This is the second belt I ordered (however, this time in a different color). In advance, I was regarding a bit surprised or irritated by the selling price. In fact, I was not aware of this type of closure until now. I am not disappointed! Absolutely great workmanship and extremely solid plus extremely stylish. Overall, the belt is sturdy and made of cowhide as described. The best thing is that it can be easily shortened. For those who do not necessarily need/want a brand name on the buckle, clear purchase recommendation.

The buckle quality is definitely what surprised me the most! I don’t believe that money can buy a better quality buckle. An important note for this product: you don’t need to manually puncture holes to adjust the fit. Simply pull the end of the belt through the buckle, and it’ll tighten however much you’d like. Pull out the small metal piece underneath the buckle to undo the belt. The only downside is that small marks appear on the leather after tightening it relatively quickly after using it.

After purchasing the belt, I wiped it with isopropyl alcohol.

If it’s cheap leather, a lot of dye will come off.

Based on the price of twenty dollars (sale/discount/coins) – I recommend buying. It’s really leather, although not of luxury quality, normal thickness, smooth surface without cracks or creases, rough reverse side but without bumps. I tested it on a cut piece: it doesn’t burn or melt. However, the paint washes off with alcohol, so wearing this belt with light-colored pants would be a bad idea. It will be fine with jeans and black fabric pants.
