At first, I thought I received a damaged device because the package looked like it had been run over by a car several times! Thankfully, it was a problem with weak batteries and fresh 2xAAA batteries solved the issue. A very cool, cheap, and useful gadget. I do not recommend sealing thin foil bags because the sealer works like a hot knife.
